We’ve added some great new features to Powertracer in response to customer feedback. This short article explains these enhancements in brief, with links to further information should you need it 🙌 ☀️

Detailed or streamlined view of your property’s trade summary

You can now choose to view your property trade summary in a streamlined view, where you can see your trade summary for each trade type:

Or you can choose to view the trade summary in a more detailed view, where the trade outcomes for each trading partner are listed:

Clarifying Untraded Energy

For a while now Powertracer has displayed the amount of energy that wasn’t traded for some reason. This may have been due to late meter data, or in some cases substituted meter data. We call this untraded energy. So now for complete traceability Powertracer displays untraded energy in the chart alongside the imported and exported energy.

We also calculate the proportion of Untraded energy for your property, and for customers on a flat price tariff, we display the $ value of Untraded energy:

All untraded energy is charged at the retailer default rates, so in effect untraded energy is equivalent to retailer default when it comes to your energy bill.

Financial benefits of trading revealed

You already see the financial benefits of using Powertracer as a line item on your energy bill each month. For customers on flat tariffs, with a single energy usage price, you can now view this any time in Powertracer:

If you are a customer on a Time Of Use (TOU) tariff, we are working hard on building this feature for you in a coming release.

and don’t forget…

Data downloads for closer inspection

We've added a data downloads feature so you can access your meter and trade data directly on Powertracer:

For those with multiple smart meters, view the trades on each.

Powertracer can reveal the energy and trades occurring for each meter at your property. Very helpful for monitoring the usage of each:
